Help Shape the Future of St. Pete

This survey is now closed for submission. Thank you for your input to help shape the future of St. Pete!

The City of St. Petersburg initiated a resident survey to get input on government services and measure the quality of life in the community. Input from the community will directly influence the City's upcoming strategic plan and budgeting decisions. The City practices informed decision-making, and your perspectives on City services and quality of life will guide our strategies. The community's guidance gives the City authentic feedback from the community, helping the City develop the best plan of action moving forward to shape the future of St. Pete.

Methodology

The 2024 St. Petersburg Community Survey is part of the National Community Survey (NCS) and was developed by the National Research Center (NRC) at Polco. The survey captured opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and more. The results show the City's strengths, areas of improvement, and what matters most to residents. The City will also be able to see how its performance compares to similar communities.

The survey captured a wide net of community opinions that go beyond what the city can collect at traditional in-person planning sessions. Professional data scientists will analyze the results for accuracy and representation. Before the survey was opened citywide, a randomly selected sample of residents was invited to complete the survey via a mailed postcard in January 2024.
