Thanksgiving Holidays Affect Some City Facilities November 22 & 23

St. Petersburg, Fla. (November 15, 2007) - During the Thanksgiving holiday week, some city facilities will be closed to the public on November 22 and 23, as follows:

Residential Sanitation Pick-Up:
During the Thanksgiving holiday week, residential collections normally made on Thursday will be made on Wednesday. Residential collections on Monday, Tuesday and Friday remain the same.

Other Services:
On Wednesday, November 21, five St. Petersburg public libraries will close early at 6 p.m. The West Community Library will be closed on Saturday, November 24. For water or sewer emergency service, call the Water Resources Department at 893-7261. For Police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 9-1-1.
