Supports social service programs that enhance the quality of life and positively impact residents of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.
Please note the following important changes to this year's application process:
Priorities for funding will be limited to programs that provide:
1) Homeless Prevention Services and
2) Homeless Services, to the
3) Adult Individuals and/or Family population,
4) Proposals seeking Match funding will receive higher consideration.
Agency requests for less than $10,000 or more than $40,000 will not be considered. An agency may request funding for more than one program, but the total request can not exceed $40,000.
Of the $426,000 in the City's Social Action Funding budget, $338,000 will be available for the competitive bid process.
The proposals are due on Tuesday, August 4th by 4:00 p.m. They are to be delivered to: St. Petersburg City Hall, 175 5th St. North. Late deliveries will be refused. There will not be a technical workshop, so please read the guidelines to the application carefully. The Application Review Process Calendar can be found on Page 1 in the Guideline booklet.
