Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city. As St. Petersburg's oldest living museum, this 100 year old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region.
Unwind as you stroll through meandering paths, lush with exotic plants from around the world. Explore cascading waterfalls, beautiful demonstration gardens, more than 50,000 tropical plants and flowers.
Sunken Gardens provides garden tours, horticultural programs, special events, field trips, weddings, private and corporate rentals. Call 727-551-3102. Gardens may be closed due to inclement weather.

Zootastic Family Fest-- Three Attractions for $5
Great Explorations Children's Museum and Sunken Gardens will welcome some special guests of the "four-legged" and "feathered" varieties from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28th when the Zoo Ventures outreach team from Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo comes for a visit.
Guests at the two Pinellas attractions can mingle with animal trainers and ambassadors, attend animal shows and enjoy the Giving Tree Music interactive drum circle. There will also be face painting, animal-inspired crafts and a planting activity!
Tickets are $5 online and $10 at the door (including members). *Members will have early access at 9 a.m.
Westshore Pizza will be selling pizza, sandwiches and other snacks.
